It seems that Microsoft has either forgotten or is currently working on the Release Notes for this flight. This is because the “Learn More” button on the Windows Update Settings page ends up on a blank Microsoft page, where the Release Notes for the update should actually be.Page not found That said, we are currently not aware of what this update includes, or maybe it is just a servicing channel update to test it out. We were also unable to find any visible changes to the OS. We will update this post once the Release notes are published. For now, here are the steps to download and install KB5014866.
Download and Install Windows 11 Build 22621.105
To install this update, you need to be running Windows 11 and subscribed to the Release Preview channel. If you have enabled Windows updates, you will automatically get a “New features are ready to install” prompt. If not, follow these steps to install this flight: Once the computer restarts, you can verify that the OS has been updated by typing in winver in the Run Command box.Windows 11 Release Preview channel updated Once it downloads, click Install.
Rollback/Remove Windows 11 Insider Preview Update
If you do not wish to keep the installed preview update for some reason, you can always roll back to the previous build of the OS. However, this can only be performed within the next 10 days after installing the new update. To roll back after 10 days, you will need to apply this trick.
